Happy 2nd birthday to my sweets!

I know every parent says it and act like they actually have no idea birthdays are getting close.. but.. my kids are two?! Where did the last two years go? I am extremely proud of my girls to say the least. They are determined. They are hard headed. They are hysterical. They are that perfect pinch of sugar.

Maci and AnnaLynn are so lucky they have each other. I can only imagine what it's like to have a twin sister and it seems pretty awesome if you ask me. At least, from my perspective I can see that they teach each other so much, (like potty training!?), which means a lot to watch as a mom. AnnaLynn is the one who takes control and makes sure there are tomatoes ready to eat and Maci makes sure their clothes are ready to go. Silly girls. 

My brother Christian is in town so we took him and the girls out to the beach and let me say, these beaches are not like Texas beaches. You don't need wet suits to get in the South Padre water that's for sure. And I just want to make it clear that I would choose living here over my hometown any day! It was a perfect combo of spending time at the girls' favorite place to play, and showing Christian the scenery here. 

The best part of the day, to me, was looking through these pictures and seeing that my husband took the camera and got a few shots in. I know, I know, it's not my day but I am excited I was included :)
