Pt. Defiance

Sweet, simple, and to the point. 
I'm not too sure I'll ever get sick of visiting Pt. Defiance in Tacoma. I have a few sweet spots around the South Sound that I regularly run away to, Pt. Defiance being one of them. One characteristic that closer makes a spot a *sweet* one in my opinion, is no sight of a telephone wire. I want to feel like I'm away from the city, neighborhoods, schools, all of it. I'm looking for a place I can peacefully feel solitude.
The great thing about Pt. Defiance is that it also has Owen Beach. Lordy, the sound of water splashing up on driftwood is healing.
